Rhythms for Life was founded by Rex Golston

He has studied and played with many ethnic and modern musicians, and is known for his effectiveness and soft, easy humor. Rex has developed this unique program from wonderful teachings, ancient and modern.

Rex has been studying the systems approach to many subjects, starting with computer systems at North American Aviation in the mid 60's, then electronic systems courtesy of the U.S. Army, music recording and business with Seventh Dawn Productions, and health and wellness with many fine teachers.He started applying a systems approach to drumming when he realized the enormous value of playing music and discovered that most people don't play music because of missing some simple basics.
